Privacy policy

Account information you give us: name, email address, business name, and billing details. Contact data you upload to your audience: email addresses, phone numbers, names, and any custom fields you create. Usage data: pages visited on this site, actions taken inside the product, device and browser information.

To run the service: sending your campaigns, processing opt ins and opt outs, showing you analytics, and billing your plan. To support you: answering questions and investigating problems. To improve Wateja: understanding which features are used so we can make them better.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use the contacts you upload for our own marketing. We do not use your content or contact data to train AI models.

You are the controller of the contact data you upload and we process it on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, such as consent, to message those contacts. Wateja gives you the tools to do this properly: double opt in, consent tracking, one click unsubscribe, and automatic suppression of bounces, complaints, and SMS STOP replies.

This marketing site uses only essential cookies. The application at office.wateja.app uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not run third party advertising trackers.

We share data with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service, such as email delivery, SMS carriers, payment processing, and hosting. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We may disclose data if required by law.

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can export it at any time. When you close your account we delete your data within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your account or by emailing hello@wateja.app. If you are in a region with specific privacy rights, such as the EU, UK, Kenya, or California, we honour them.
